Receiving an honorable discharge from the United States Army in 2004, after loosing her husband a month prior; Silvia Timoteo moved to the Palm Beaches to be closer to her family.
After settling into her new home, Silvia knew she wanted to take the varied skills she acquired in the armed forces, and apply them to forming a business she could be proud of. Assessing the needs of homeowners and businesses in her community, she realized that affordable, structured, high quality cleaning services were a marketplace niche waiting to be filled.
In 2006, Silvia made the decision to start her own business in order to spend more time with her then 6 year old. Her business decision proved to be so successful that she had to hire employees almost immediately. But it has not only been about the profits; instead it has also been about helping the community she lives in. In coordination with Cleaning for a Reason, a non-profit organization, Luxury Maids has cared enough to give back! They are providing free home cleaning to women with cancer.
