Our uniformed housekeepers are regularly supervised and you as the homeowner always have access to our office manager to discuss your professional cleaning service.

What are your prices?

We individualize cleaning services according to you and your home. The price to clean your home is based on many factors: the size of your home, frequency of cleaning, pets, clutter, any specialized needs, etc.

Do I need my own supplies?

For your first time cleaning, we will bring all of the necessary supplies as well as common tools. We do however ask that you provide cleaning supplies for all future cleaning. (Please review the list of supplies you must have for on-going service.) To make things easier, we can also purchase the supplies for you; we do ask is that you reimburse us that same day.

Can I count on your employees?

We take pride in prompt cleaning services and superior attention to detail. You can count on the job being done right the first time We do out best to return phone calls promptly, arriving on time for appointments, and following through with promises made.

What if I have a special instruction / request?

Our cleaning teams are responsible for cleaning several homes each working day. While they will be happy to accommodate special requests you may have from time to time (such as cleaning the oven, inside the refrigerator, and washing windows, for example), it will be easier for them to accommodate your wishes if you provide them with advance notice. Rather than leaving a note asking them to do an extra assignment, call the office in advance or leave a note asking them to do the task on their next regular cleaning visit. In this way, your team can plan their day's cleaning schedule ahead of time. As you can appreciate, if two or three clients surprised them with extra duties on their scheduled day, they may have to skip someone else's regular visit if they tried to fit in that extra work. Keep in mind that you will normally be expected to pay a little extra for work that is not normally included.

Do I have to tip the maids?

Luxury Maids never requires tipping, but it is a wonderful way to say thank you to your service provider (a suggested tipping range is 10-15% of the fee). Your appreciation need not be monetary. A personal note from you expressing your appreciation for their service can mean a great deal.

How will you access my home?

Most of our customers are not home during the cleaning. We request that you please provide us with a key and an alarm code if your home has an alarm. If you prefer to be home and let the maids in we will provide you with an approximate time of arrival. We try to be at your within a two hour window- i.e. 8:30- 10:30am or 12:00-2:00pm. We will do our best to schedule you at the time of day that works best for you; but please understand that with traffic and unforeseen changing weather conditions it is difficult to give you an exact time of. Should you choose not to provide a key, and not home when maids arrive, a lock out fee may apply.

What if I need to cancel / skip my scheduled cleaning that day?

You may reschedule, skip, add, or cancel any of your scheduled cleanings. We understand anything can happen. Please keep in mind: our staff is not paid if they do not have cleaning appointments. If for any reason, you cannot keep your scheduled appointment we do ask for a 24-hours cancellation. This will allow us enough time to schedule other customers. Whenever you skip a cleaning entirely (do not reschedule but wait until your next scheduled cleaning) the next cleaning will be billed at that frequency rate. (Example: If you skip, your bi-weekly cleaning altogether then the next service will have been four weeks form the last cleaning. Therefore, the rate that day is billed at the monthly rate rather than the bi-weekly rate. All visits shall be performed on a weekday during regular business hours unless otherwise requested.

How do I pay for your services?

Payment is due upon completion of the work on the day of your scheduled cleaning service. Most customers find it convenient to simply leave a check in the home, made payable to Luxury Maids, Inc. If you fail to fail to provide timely payment we will request a credit card number to be held for back up payment. If we receive two insufficient funds checks in 12 months, we will also require a credit card number to backup payment. You will also be assessed a $35 fee per incident.

What happens if I am late arriving to let the maids in?

In the instances when our employees have to wait 30 minutes or longer for someone to open the door, bring keys, complete the work etc. We reserve the right to reduce the time of the appointment by the amount of time our team members had to spend waiting, or charge for the wait time at $30.00 an hour per person, in addition to your cleaning rate.

Do I need to clean prior to the maids arriving?

Clean? No! But we do as that you pick up as much as possible before we arrive. This will allow us to focus more on the actual cleaning detail and the quality of the service. To make your house cleaning services more efficient, we ask that you pick up clothing, toys and other household items prior to arrival from our maids.

What does your quality control system consist of?

Our quality control system is interactive and dependent upon your feedback and communication to function. We need your input on the overall experience and quality you are receiving so that we may address issues that are important to you. We will correct or address any issues we are made aware of. Our maid service providers take great pride in the work they do and also want to be informed when you are disappointed with the service. We ask that you please use our Quality Score Sheets when your home is cleaned. Your feedback is a very valuable way to communicate with our office and your maid service providers.

Are you pet friendly?

Your pets are important to us. For their safety as well as ours, please let us know how they should be handled. We absolutely adore pets, and most of out team members are pet owner as well. Keep in mind: dogs tend to be more protective and cats more scared, when owners are not home. If you have a dog, and our employees feel threatened, we reserve the right to refuse the service, but you will be charged a full rate.

What if my maid service providers break something?

We treat your home with complete care and respect. However, should damage or breakage occur while we are cleaning, we will make every effort to repair or if necessary, replace the item.

Do you have discounts for first time customers?

Is this the first time using Luxury Maids for your cleaning service? If so, you qualify for our complementary, New Client Discount of 10%! (You will receive this offer after your third scheduled cleaning).

Do you have gift certificates / cards?

Yes we do! Surprise that special friend or family member by giving them one less thing to worry about! A perfect gift for someone who is celebrating a new home, new baby, retirement or job change. It is also a special gift for someone celebrating a birthday, anniversary or a holiday.

Our gift cards can be purchased for 4 different dollars amounts, $120, $150, $180 and $240. If you should require different amounts, please call out office.

Our certificates can be purchased in three price ranges according to the size of the home and time spent.

  • Cleaning Service Fixed Price - you can fix the denomination of the gift certificate at any amount you wish. In such cases, we write the equivalent man-hours (not the fixed-price) on the face of the gift certificate, calculated as the face amount divided by our rate of $30 per man-hour. If we spend less than the fixed price, we can credit you or apply to future service for you or the recipient.
  • Cleaning Service Open Price - you can give us "carte blanche" to simply clean the place to our standards. We clean it until it's done, then charge your credit card at the hourly rate of $30 per man-hour. We write, "Good for one Initial Clean" on the face of the gift certificate.
  • Cleaning Service Price Limit – This is like an open price, but with a limit. You can limit the Open Price deal with a range, in which case we ask the recipient or you to prioritize which tasks you would like us to focus on. We can also check in with you during the assignment, if you wish us to apprise you of our progress as we go.

Note* After receiving a cleaning gift card or gift certificate, the recipient can contact our office to schedule service. Cleaning Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash and all gift certificates must be used within one year from the date of purchase.
